Actor Baim Wong and model Paula Verhoeven underwent another divorce trial at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Monday (28/10/2024).
The trial is scheduled with a follow-up mediation agenda.
“Yes (there will be a follow-up mediation trial),” said Baim Wong’s attorney, Fahmi Bachmid in a short message, Sunday (28/10/2024).
Fahmi said the trial was held at 12.00 WIB.
Previously, Fahmi said, in the follow-up trial, Baim and Paula would provide a written letter regarding their divorce agreement.
Including, regarding proposals for custody of their children.
“The judge gave Baim and the respondent the opportunity to submit their written submissions on Monday at 13.00. What is best for the children? To provide an explanation for each other about children’s rights,” said Fahmi on Wednesday (23/10/2024).
“About what is best for the children. They explained to each other, who the children are more comfortable with. According to Baim, the children are more comfortable with him because they are relaxed and so on, so on,” continued Fahmi.
Meanwhile, Paula Verhoeven’s attorney, Alvon Kurnia Palma, said that a further mediation trial was being held again because Paula and Baim had not yet made an agreement to divorce.
In this trial, Paula and Baim Wong were also required to attend.
“Mediation has been underway, yes, it has been determined by the mediator judge, it has started, and then there will be further mediation later on Monday,” said Alvon.
“Monday (a trial) will be held again. The principal must be present,” said Alvon.
For information, Baim Wong applied for divorce from Paula Verhoeven on October 8 2024. Baim suspected that Paula was having an affair. The application for divorce from the film director Lembayung is registered with case number 3477/Pdt.G/2024/PA.JS as of October 8 2024.
However, Paula recently denied that she was having an affair with Baim Wong.
Baim Wong married Paula Verhoeven on November 22 2018. The two of them have two sons.
